This city offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Around 55% of the properties in the city are occupied by homeowners and 45% are rented. Lindsey Lanes- is an affordable residential community on the western side of town with large lots, few restrictions and low fees. Homes in Lindsey Lanes are CBS construction and range from 1400 finished square feet to about 2000 square feet. Legend Lakes - is a gated residential community of newer CBS constructed homes. Other than some common areas and 2 tennis courts, there are no community elements such as pool or clubhouse. Harmony Reserve- Is the newest 55+ community now being built in Vero Beach by Maronda Homes & Holiday Homes.
Enviable features include a beautiful island kitchen, renowned interiors, cultivated landscapes & generous living areas.... We recently purchased a condo on Hutchinson Island. Kim and Allan spent two Saturdays showing us several condos.

Waterway Village - is a gated community built by DiVosta Homes. Construction in Phase 1 was begun in 2005 and continues to the present with 2 new phases, The Cove and The Lakes. The Sanctuary - is a small subdivision west of 58th Avenue and north of the Indian River Mall.
Waterford Lakes- is a community of single family homes on east side of town built in 2003. A community pool, playground and lawn-care are included with the low monthly HOA fee of $125. Walkers Glen- has an east and west phase both located just south of 26th street and east of 58th avenue. The well maintained communities provide lawn care but do not have a community pool or clubhouse.
Kenwood Village- is an attractive community of single family homes built by GHO Homes with a community pool & tennis courts. Since the homes were built in 2004 & 2005, they are all CBS construction built to the new hurricane codes. Citrus Springs- The gated community of Citrus Springs features amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool with sundeck, tennis courts and open spaces. Homes are divided into "villages" each with their own gated access and some with neighborhood swimming pools. Cambridge Park- is a gated community just south of 20th Street on the west side of Vero Beach. The attached patio homes were built by GHO Homes in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
